The Trip At Knight Tour Makes it’s Second Ohio Stop in Cincinnati
This past week Riverbend Music Center welcomed a few of the biggest artists in the game to take their stage and put on a show for their sold out 10,000 people crowd. The “Trip At Knight Tour” which included the likes of SoFaygo, Iann Dior, and Trippie Redd made their second stop in Ohio on Thursday night and performed for the fans of Cincinnati. They brought so much energy and had the people in the crowd raging the whole night. Trippie even performed an extra 7-9 songs past his set time because the crowd was giving so much energy back to the performers.
SoFaygo was the first to take the stage where he performed some of his biggest hits including “Everyday”, “Knock Knock”, and even “MP5” by him and Trippie Redd. This song was featured on Trippie’s newest album (Trip At Knight) that the tour is based around and has become one of the most popular songs on the whole entire album. Faygo recently signed to Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Records, joining a star studded roster that includes artists like Don Tolliver, Sheck Wes, and Travis himself. With Faygo’s talent and his now backing from Cactus Jack I see him having a very bright future and I was glad to see him perform in person at such an early stage in his career.
Iann Dior was after Faygo and he rocked the stage with an insane amount of energy. I was very surprised with how good of a performer he is. I had never seen him in person but I was amazed by how much energy he had while on stage. He seemed like he was truly in his element throughout his whole set. He performed a majority of his biggest songs including “Mood” and a few of the classics from his Industry Plant album like “Strings” and “Darkside”. He also performed some unreleased songs including “V12” that features Lil Uzi Vert who is one of the biggest artists in the whole world. I have been following Iann’s growth for a few years now and I only see him continuing to grow in the future. Iann is honestly one of the most energetic performers I've ever seen and I think his love for music shows in all aspects of his career, including his performances.
Trippie Redd was last to take the stage so the crowd was desperately awaiting his arrival. He ran out and played many songs, some old and some new. A few of the major ones included his new hits like “Miss The Rage”, “Supernatural”, “Holy Smokes”, and “Matt Hardy 999” which are all on his new album Trip At Knight. He also performed his older tracks like “Dark Knight Dummo” and “F*ck Love”, which include the likes of Travis Scott and the late XXXTentacion, two of the biggest artists of our generation. The crowd was very excited to hear these classics and for me it brought back a lot of nostalgia from the best era of music in the past six years in my opinion. Throughout the night the crowd was able to match the energy Trippie was giving them so everyone was able to enjoy their time during the whole set. Like I stated before about Iann, Trippie also has some major energy while on stage and was able to keep the crowd hyped all night long. Because everyone was having such a good time, including Trippie, he decided to perform seven to nine more songs than we expected which made everyone even more happy about the performance as a whole. I have always enjoyed Trippie’s music and was happy to see him live and have the opportunity to cover the show. As an artist he is next level and I hope he can have continued successes in his career.
Trippie was sure to put on a good show for his home state and the fans matched his energy perfectly. I was also happy to see SoFaygo and Iann live and can't wait to see what they have in store for the future. I have a lot of content from this show so be on the lookout for that on our social media. We will be posting it soon. Overall the Trip At Knight Tour stop in CIncinnati was a huge success and I know everyone involved was able to have a great time.
